Kenneth Douglas Pugar DO

Dr. Pugar joined DCND in 2017. He has always liked the puzzle aspect of neurology and enjoys helping patients come up with solutions. Dr. Pugar has a genuine passion for teaching. He regularly offers lectures on a variety of neurological topics to medical students, residents, fellow physicians, and the community. He has written a summary article to update primary care physicians on new topics in the field of dementia, which was published in the national Primary Care Reports Journal. He takes an active role in the education of future neurologists through his continued involvement with the Grandview Hospital Neurology Residency Program. Dr. Pugar is married with one daughter. He enjoys playing guitar, snowboarding, golfing and spending time with his family and friends.
