Kenneth D. Gold, M.D. grew up on Long Island and graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College. He earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and then trained in Internal Medicine at George Washington University, where he also served as Chief Medical Resident. His fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology was completed at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Gold has served for many years as the chair person of the Transfusion Committees at both Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center and Southside Hospital, and is currently the Chief of Hematology Oncology at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Gold is a member of The American Society for Clinical Oncology and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.
