Kenneth A. Mayuga, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist (heart rhythm specialist) in the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart & Vascular Institute. Dr. Mayuga also holds an academic appointment in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
Dr. Mayuga earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, Illinois where he was a James Scholar in the honors program for research and independent study. He served his residency in Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic and completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of California Davis Medical Center, Sacramento, California. He then returned to Cleveland Clinic to complete a fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology where he received the Excellence in Medical Education Award and the Syncope Award for research. He was named to the Cleveland Clinic medical staff in 2014.
