Kelsey C. Newell MS, CGC

Kelsey Newell, MS, CGC is a certified genetic counselor who provides risk assessment and counseling for patients with hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes. She currently practices in the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Prior to joining the team at Georgetown, she worked at Massachusetts General Hospital providing genetic counseling services to patients with hereditary cardiovascular disease.

Ms. Newell received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the College of William and Mary and a Master of Science degree in Genetic Counseling from Boston University School of Medicine. She is an active member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
