Kelly Yamasato MD

Dr Kelly Yamasato is a maternal-fetal medicine physician with the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health. She completed medical school, residency, and fellowship at the University of Hawaii John A Burns School of Medicine. Dr Yamasato specializes in high-risk pregnancy inpatient and outpatient care as a maternal-fetal medicine physician. She has participated in various obstetric research projects, including retrospective database analyses, prospective cohort studies, clinical trials, and translational work. As the medical director for the Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children Family Birth Center, she is also heavily involved in quality improvement efforts for inpatient obstetric care.
