Kelly Sheerin is a registered Physiotherapist and Biomechanist who leads the AUT Millennium Sports Performance Clinics. He has a clinical interest and expertise in running injuries and biomechanics. Kelly has a Masters degree in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, including research in 3D running biomechanics. He is currently completing his PhD in the area of real-time feedback in runners at risk of tibial stress fracture. Kelly has presented at numerous national and international conferences and his work has been published in Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy in Sport, and the British Journal of Sports Medicine. While also heading up the Sports Performance Clinics, Kelly also teaches anatomy, biomechanics, and skill acquisition as part of AUT’s School of Sport and Recreation.
