Kelly McCutcheon Adams, MSW, LICSW, is a Director for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in Cambridge. She has previously directed the Improving Outcomes for High-Risk and Critically Ill Patients Learning and Innovation Community, the Reducing Complications from Ventilators and Central Lines in the ICU Collaborative, and the Improving Access and Efficiency in Primary Care Collaborative.
Ms. McCutcheon Adams is an experienced medical social worker who has worked in ICU, emergency department, sub-acute rehabilitation, nursing home, and hospice settings. She served on the faculty of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Organ Donation and Transplantation Collaboratives and is currently on the faculty of the Gift of Life Institute in Philadelphia. She has a B.A. in Political Science from Wellesley College and an MSW from Boston College.
