Dr. Kelly M. Forney-Stevens is an Expert Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline Vaccines in Rockville, MD. She currently works in the Drug Product Development group and is responsible for the formulation and process development of vaccine products. Before joining GSK, Kelly worked as a chemistry reviewer in the Office of Process and Facilities (OPF) at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and was a Regulatory Affairs and Manufacturing Sciences Fellow at Biogen in Cambridge, MA. Kelly received her Ph. D. from the University of Connecticut where she carried out her dissertation work focused on issues related to the amorphous/solid-state characterization, formulation, and process of freeze-dried protein pharmaceuticals under Prof. Robin Bogner and Prof. Mike Pikal.
