Kelly Besco PharmD, FISMP, CPPS

Kelly Besco is the medication safety coordinator for OhioHealth Pharmacy Services. In her current role, Kelly oversees performance improvement and medication safety initiatives for the pharmacy service line. She also serves on the Institute for Safe Medication Practice’s (ISMP) Clinical Advisory Board, the Medication Safety Officers Society (MSOS) Advisory Board and is a Member of FDA’s Drug Safety and Risk Management Advisory Committee.
Kelly earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University. She completed an ASHP accredited residency in Pharmacy Practice at Riverside Methodist Hospital and ISMP’s Safe Medication Management Fellowship.
