Dr. Scott (she/her/hers) is a clinical psychologist and implementation scientist focused on enhancing the implementation of evidence-based mental health and substance use interventions in community settings. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Social Sciences and is a core faculty member within the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Center for Dissemination and Implementation Science.

Dr. Scott's academic research is focused on employing methods from implementation science to increase the scale-up of evidence-based practices in community settings. She is currently funded by a K23 Early Career Development Award from the National Institute on Drug Abuse that seeks to develop and pilot a measurement-based care protocol for use in community opioid treatment programs. This pilot hybrid type 1 effectiveness-implementation trial seeks to develop a measurement-based care tool and approach that may enhance the quality of care and effective treatment progress monitoring for individuals with opioid use disorder in New England and the Chicagoland area. Dr. Scott also serves as the Evaluation Director for the New England Addiction Technology Transfer Center, which provides training and technical assistance to the substance use treatment and recovery workforce in the New England region.
