Keith is a Market Insights Manager at Cochlear within the Global Marketing and Services divisions. He is driven by his desire to help people solve problems with data and does this by using objective evidence in all manner of forms to help answer business questions and improve the customer experience – whether that evidence comes from market research studies, secondary data via customer and product data, or some combination of those. While Keith’s primary focus at Cochlear is on existing customers, he also works across other parts of the business including sales and product development on a number of data-focused projects.
Keith is relatively new to the healthcare industry, joining Cochlear in February 2017 after spending 16 years with Tourism Australia in various strategies, data and market research roles. He also has his own side gig to help past colleagues when they need something slightly larger than favour. Keith originally came to market research via a Psychology degree and then learnt a bunch of Excel, Tableau and Power BI so he could help out his clients.
