Kayla J. Bayless is an Associate Professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Physiology at the Texas A&M University Health Science Center and Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology at the Texas Lutheran University. Her doctoral training focused on purifying osteopontin and characterizing integrin binding in vascular cells and leukocytes. She performed post-doctoral studies in Pathology under the mentorship of George Davis, where she studied the role of Rho GTPases in endothelial cell morphogenesis.
