Kawan S. Rakhra MD, FRCPC

Dr. Kawan Rakhra is Head of the Musculoskeletal Imaging Section in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology of The Ottawa Hospital, and an associate professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa. His clinical and academic interests include MRI, sports medicine, hip impingement and advanced cartilage imaging techniques. Dr. Rakhra is actively involved in multimodality imaging based multidisciplinary research projects in collaboration with researchers from the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, the University of Ottawa and Carleton University.
