Katie D. Vo, MD, is a professor of radiology and chief of neuroradiology for the WashU Medicine Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR). Since 2004, Vo has served as director of advanced stroke and cerebrovascular imaging, working closely with the MR, neurology stroke, and ER services. She is also an alumna, having completed a neuroradiology fellowship at MIR and previously served as director of the Office of Faculty Development.

Vo previously served as director of the neuroradiology fellowship at MIR and has been honored with several Distinguished Teacher of the Year awards. She has authored more than 40 research articles, chapters, reviews, and editorials on advanced neuroimaging in stroke and other neurological disorders. She completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, and bachelor’s degrees from Wellesley College and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
