Kathryn was a Director of the Santa Clara County Office of Education’s (SCCOE) Inclusion Collaborative Department, Kathryn Wahl is responsible for promoting, supporting and advocating for all children to have full access to inclusive environments, regardless of their abilities, both locally, regionally and statewide. Kathryn has worked for the Inclusion Collaborative since 2014, and for SCCOE since 1995, starting as a Nutrition Consultant, then as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher/Nutritionist for the Early Start Program.

Kathryn has taught multiple courses at both San Jose City College and Evergreen Community College, and was instrumental to developing inclusive training courses. Additionally, Kathryn has worked as a Family Support Services Coordinator for the Santa Clara County Perinatal Substance Abuse Program, the Nutrition & Feeding Consultant for the HOPE Homestart Program, and a Nutritionist for the Child Care Food Program with Choices for Children. Kathryn maintains her Registered Dietitian status, an ECSE Education Specialist Teaching Credential and her Administrative Services Credential.

Kathryn has served on the following boards: Mother’s Milk Bank of Valley Health Center (1999-2001) and the Healing Paw (2001-2006). Kathryn earned her B.S. in Dietetics and Food Administration at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and her M.A. in Early Intervention Services, Special Education Programs from Santa Clara University. Kathryn has four grown children, four grandchildren…and counting!
