Kathryn Ruddy MD, MPH, FASCO

Kathryn J. Ruddy, M.D., M.P.H., FASCO, is a medical oncologist who sees patients with breast cancer. In addition to her clinical activities, Dr. Ruddy leads the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center Cancer Prevention, Control and Survivorship Program, and is active in research focused on prediction and prevention of toxicity in patients with cancer.

Within the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, she co-chairs the Symptom Intervention Committee, supporting survivorship research nationally. In 2025, she was inducted into the American Society of Clinical Investigators in recognition of her excellence in clinical research. Dr. Ruddy mentors residents and fellows, speaks at national meetings, and publishes in high-impact scientific journals.
