Kathryn Casey Bouskill is a social scientist at the RAND Corporation. An anthropologist by training, Bouskill draws on qualitative and quantitative methods to study a range of sociocultural- and health-related issues. Her projects include issues in cancer prevention and survivorship, cultural perceptions of health and wellness, evaluations of novel rating systems and insurance payment strategies in health, the health impacts of demographic change, evaluations of telemedicine screening platforms, how social and technological changes are reforming the landscape of global risk and security, and military and veteran mental health issues. Bouskill has worked and taught in Austria and the United States and performed multiple collaborative and interdisciplinary projects in the United States, the European Union, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Peru. Bouskill received her B.A. in anthropology from the University of Notre Dame. She has a Ph.D. in anthropology and an M.P.H. in epidemiology from Emory University.
