Kathleen Kendall BA, MA, PhD

Dr Kathleen Kendall is Associate Professor in Sociology as Applied to Medicine within Medicine at the University of Southampton. Kathleen Kendall is a senior lecturer in Sociology as Applied to Medicine at Southampton University in the UK. She completed her BA and MA at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada where she also worked as a sessional lecturer in the Sociology Department and as a research associate with the Department of Psychiatry and the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC). After research appointments with the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) in Kingston and Ottawa, Kathy moved to Manchester to undertake her PhD. Following its completion she took up a lecturer post in sociology at the University of Reading and then moved to the University of Southampton in 1999.
