Kathleen E. Walsh MD, MSc

Dr. Walsh is director of patient safety research and associate professor of pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s within the UC College of Medicine. She has extensive experience in the qualitative and quantitative measurement of medication errors and adverse drug events among children in the hospital, clinic, and home. She has performed several studies of medication use in the homes of children with chronic conditions. She has developed and evaluated health information technology interventions to support medication use. Dr. Walsh is a general pediatrician with clinical research fellowship training, including a master's degree in epidemiology.
