Katherine T. Lusardi, Pharm.D., BCPS-AQ ID is the Pharmacy Clinical Specialist for Antimicrobial Stewardship and ID at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Dr. Lusardi earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University College of Pharmacy in 2009. She completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA, and a PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Residency with the University of Houston and Cardinal Health in Houston, TX. She then went to UAMS in 2011, to start the antimicrobial stewardship program.
She precepts UAMS PGY-1 Pharmacy Residents and UAMS College of pharmacy students on rotation for ID Consult and Antimicrobial Stewardship. She serves as the secretary for the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee and as a member of the Residency Advisory Committee. In the past, Dr. Lusardi has served as the Secretary/Treasurer of the ACCP ID-PRN and has involvement with local pharmacy organizations.
