Katherine Mccombe MBBS, MRCP, FRCA

Dr. McCombe is a highly experienced anaesthetist who carried out her initial studies at St. George's Hospital Medical School in London. She has a special interest in obstetric anaesthesia and prior to moving to the UAE, she worked at Frimley Park Hospital in the UK, a 700-bed NHS hospital, where she worked on a busy labour ward with around 6,000 deliveries per year. She also has a special interest in anaesthesia for vascular surgery and was regularly involved in complex cases of open and endovascular aneurysm repair, awake and asleep carotid surgery and limb revascularisation. She also anaesthetised regularly for other surgical specialities such as general surgery, gynaecology, ENT, dental, orthopaedics and urology. Dr. McCombe also has a Masters' degree in Medical Ethics and Law and was Honorary Secretary for the Society for Ethics and Law in Medicine.
