Katherine Johnson MD

Katherine Johnson is board-certified in Family Medicine and currently practices inpatient and outpatient family medicine. She loves to translate cutting-edge, evidence-based medicine into real-life applications. It is an absolute delight to guide patients through improving and understanding their individualized health status and plan, and it's a privilege to be modeling this to resident physicians.

Since 2016, Johnson has developed special expertise in the areas of diabetes, lipidology, obesity, hypercortisolism, and cardiometabolic health, and she has diplomates from the American Board of Obesity Medicine and the American Board of Clinical Lipidology. She serves as the clinic director for the Self Regional Full Circle Care Diabetes and Metabolic clinic, and she is also an assistant professor and clinician with the Self Regional Family Medicine residency.
