Katherine B. Peters MD, PhD

Dr. Katherine B. Peters is an Associate Professor of Neurology at Duke University. She treats primary brain tumor patients in The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke. In addition to caring for brain tumor patients, she is the Program Director for the Neuro-Oncology fellowship and is the principal investigator on several clinical trials for the treatment and supportive care of primary brain tumor patients.

She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and United Council of Neurologic Subspecialties. She graduated summa cum laude from Emory University with dual degrees in biology and chemistry. Her medical training included MD Ph.D. from Stanford University Medical School, residency training from Johns Hopkins University, and specialty fellowship training from Johns Hopkins University and Duke University.
