Katharine Woessner, MD, treats children and adult patients for allergies, asthma and immune issues. She has special clinical interests in food allergy, atopic dermatitis, drug hypersensitivity, aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease (AERD), optimal management of asthma, hereditary angioedema (HAE), chronic urticaria, primary immunodeficiencies, mast cell disorders (mastocytosis and mast cell activation disorder), and chronic cough.
she conducts research on the diagnosis and management of aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease. As the training director of the allergy and immunology fellowship program, she is actively involved in teaching and research projects on drug allergy, food allergy, immunology, and esophageal reflux and chronic cough.
Dr. Woessner believes in combining the best that science has to offer, with the art of medicine and compassionate care. She also works with her patients as a team to determine the best treatment options for their lifestyle.
