Katharina Winkler-crepaz PhD

Dr. Katharina Winkler-Crepaz studied and received her doctorate at the Medical University of Innsbruck and is currently working as an assistant doctor and Ph.D. student at the University Clinic for Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine and at the Institute for Biomedical Aging Research at the University of Innsbruck. As part of her diploma thesis, she was already doing research at the University Clinic for Gynecological Endocrinology under the guidance of Univ.-Prof. dr Ludwig Wildt in the fields of reproductive biology and fertility protection. A stay abroad took her to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she learned various techniques of in vitro culture. Her Ph.D. studies were funded by the Federal Ministry of Science, Research, and Economy through a DOC-forte grant from the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
