Kate English MBChB, MRCP, PhD, CCT

Dr. Kate English has been a consultant in LTHT leading the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Team of doctors and specialist nurses since 2006. Following medical school, she did house jobs in Leicester, which was her first cardiology post. She spent a year in London before moving north to Sheffield to complete SHO jobs, start her cardiology training and spend 3 years getting her Ph.D.
She became fascinated by the specialty of congenital heart disease and spent a short period of time at The Heart Hospital in London before embarking on sub-specialty training in ACHD in Leeds.
