Kate Bain, OT, C/NDT Dr. Kate Bain received a Diploma of OT at Lincoln Institute in Melbourne, and aBachelor of Applied Science (OT) at Curtin Universityin Perth, Australia. She graduated as a Doctor of HealthScience at Sydney University in March 2012 and is anAdjunct Senior Lecturer at Southern Cross University.Her research project explored the impact of NDT on theperformance of daily living tasks in children with cerebral palsy. She completed 2 basic courses - firstly in theUK and then the USA, and gained certification in SIPT.She studied in the USA to become an NDT Pediatric OT Instructor, in 1998.

She is the co-founder of bothChildrens Therapy Services and the Kids+ Foundation in Geelong, Victoria, and is the Director of Paediatric Therapy -& Workshops which includes postgraduate education, clinical intensives and research. Her enthusiasm lies in combining these roles in Australia and internationally - towards families and children achieving their functional goals through playfulintervention.
