Prof. Katarzyna Mizia-Stec is a cardiologist, angiologist, specialist in internal medicine. Since 2012, he has been the head of the 1st Department of Cardiology of the GCM im. Prof. L. Giec and at the same time the Head of the 1st Department and Clinic of Cardiology of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. He is an academic teacher active in the university forum. The professor is a co-author of over 250 scientific articles and 67 books. The main directions of his scientific interests are echocardiography, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart defects, and pulmonary circulation diseases.
