Karlin Schroeder BS, MA

Karlin Schroeder, M.A., is a health educator and community organizer in New York City with 15 years of experience in facilitating interchanges between medical professionals and patients to improve health outcomes. She has worked in women’s health, with aging and underserved communities, and internationally with the United States Peace Corps. She is currently Associate Director of National Programs at the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation where she manages the Parkinson’s Advocates in Research (PAIR) program. Through this program, Karlin creates dynamic partnerships between people with Parkinson’s, care partners and research teams who collaborate to move clinical studies forward more quickly by incorporating patient expertise into the research process. Karlin has undergraduate degrees in psychobiology and psychology and a master’s degree in health advocacy from Sarah Lawrence College.
