Karla Lambaren

Karla Lambaren is a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on developing nanomedicine-based approaches for cardiovascular diseases. Her research explores innovative nanoscale drug delivery systems designed to improve the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular conditions. She is a recipient of the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (NSF GRFP) and has also been recognized as a Viterbi/Graduate School PhD Fellow, reflecting her academic excellence and research potential. Karla earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she built a strong foundation in molecular biology and chemical sciences.
