Karina Nocelo Ferreiro de Andrade is a Physiotherapist who graduated in 2002, with a Master of Science with a CAPES scholarship from the Neurology Program of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sao Paulo (FMUSP) (2018). She has a specialization in Exercise Physiology from the Federal University of Sao Paulo / Escola Paulista de Medicina (UNIFESP / EPM) (2006). She has experience in scientific research, working as a researcher at the Neurostimulation Laboratory of the Neurological Clinic Division of the Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine, University of Sao Paulo (HC/FMUSP) since 2007, and at the Research Support Center for Applied Neuroscience at the University of São Paulo (NAPNA-USP). She was a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Fellow (2008). As a physiotherapist, she has clinical experience in posture and movement re-education, trauma to orthopedic, and neurological rehabilitation.
