Karima Kissa has a PhD in Biology. From the onset of her career at the Natural History Museum in Paris she has worked on active principles present in natural substances with potential clinical applications. She has used models including zebrafish to study the development of the nervous system, blood system and immunity at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, King’s College London and at Inserm where she is Principal Investigator.
