Karen Stutzer, Ph.D., RN, is an assistant professor of nursing at the College of Saint Elizabeth in New Jersey. Her doctorate is in the field of nursing theory and research. She has extensive leadership and management experience and has been an executive director of nursing practice, clinical nurse specialist, and faculty member. She is a charter member of the Mu Theta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Actively involved in the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), Karen is the chair of the AACN Clinical Resources Task Force but also served as a past director on the AACN board. She is an experienced presenter for topics such as disruptive and aggressive workplace behavior, moral distress, and healthy work environments.
