Karen Spink BSc, PhD

Karen joined Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, in 2017 as Innovation Lead for Precision Medicine. Karen is responsible for delivering the strategy to fund and support UK businesses towards commercial development of Precision Medicine technologies. Innovate UK is a non-departmental public body which is the prime channel through which the Government incentivises innovation in business. Karen has over 20 years of experience in leading collaborative R&D and in the translation of innovation into business opportunity from various technology platforms and therapeutic areas.
