Karen M. Bastianelli BS, PharmD, BCACP

Karen Bastianelli received her BS Pharm and PharmD degrees from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and is a board certified ambulatory care pharmacist. She has served pharmacy organizations at the local, state and national levels and has been recognized for her teaching and commitment to improving patient medication information.
Dr. Bastianelli has more than 30 years of community pharmacy experience and currently serves as the director of the pharmaceutical care skills laboratory, is the course director of 3 required courses in the first year of the pharmacy curriculum, as well as 3 elective courses at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, Duluth. These courses are designed to build various skills necessary to become competent and caring pharmaceutical care practitioners.
