Karen Luyt MBChB, PhD, FRCPCH

Karen Luyt is a clinical-academic neonatologist, based in the Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, University Hospitals Bristol. Karen’s laboratory-based research has focused on newborn brain injury. Her clinical research concerns neuroprotection and optimizing health outcomes in newborn infants. She is the national strategic clinical lead for the PReCePT (Prevention of Cerebral Palsy in Preterm Birth) national implementation program and chief investigator for the Health Foundation funded PReCePT study.
