After graduating Dr Gibbon undertook her initial medical training in Exeter and Birmingham. She moved to London where she undertook further training in paediatrics and general practice.
She completed her specialist dermatology training at The Royal London Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital where she is currently employed as a general Consultant Dermatologist with a special interest in vulval disease.
Dr Gibbon worked with Professor Irene Leigh for a number of years in the Vulval Clinic at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London Hospital. She has published papers on her research interest, which centres around human papillomavirus and its role in pre-malignant and malignant genital disease.
Dr Gibbon runs the vulval dermatology and contact dermatitis (skin allergy) services at The Holly and sees adults and children of all ages with a variety of skin problems.
Dr Gibbon's approach to private practice echoes her NHS work. She offers a professional and sympathetic service which aims to provide the best possible evidence-based treatments for her patients.
