Karen Gallagher is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and a clinical associate professor in the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University. She earned her Ph.D. degree in Speech and Hearing Science in 2017. She was awarded a 2017 Academy of Neurologic Communication Disorders and Sciences Fellowship. In 2016, she was named a Pat Tillman Scholar and a recipient of the National Institute of Deafness and Other Communication Disorders Fellowship.

Additionally, she was awarded an American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation Graduate Scholarship in 2016. Karen Gallagher is a decorated Desert Shield and Desert Storm veteran, who served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Chemical Operations Specialist. After her service, she earned a Bachelor’s degree followed by a Master’s degree and worked as a speech-language pathologist in prestigious institutions, including the Barrow Neurological Institute.
