Karen Konarski-hart BS, DC

Dr Karen Kay Konarski-Hart is a chiropractic physician in private practice in Little Rock Arkansas since 1979. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from then, National College of Chiropractic (now, NUHS). A licensed Emergency Medical Technician, she also holds a Master of Science in Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro and was named that program's Outstanding Intern.

A member of the Arkansas Board of Health for 13 years, Dr Konarski-Hart is the only chiropractic physician to have served as its president. While on the board of health she was a member of and chaired many committees including review of claims reviewers, funding county health units and the state bio-lab, overseeing water, waste and restaurant violations and EMT/paramedic reviews. She co-authored and lobbied for passage of state laws to include chiropractic radiology assistants and to allow DCs to practice acupuncture under their scope of practice.
