Karen H. Morin PhD, DSN, RN, ANEF, FAAN

Dr. Morin joined the faculty at UWM in 2006 as Director of the PhD program. Since beginning her academic career teaching undergraduate students maternal-child health nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she has taught at all levels of education: undergraduate, master’s and doctoral. She has been recognized for her teaching abilities: She received the Excellence in Teaching, National League for Nursing in 2003 and the Excellence in Nursing Education Award, Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses in 1999. She has devoted the last eight years to developing leaders in Sigma Theta Tau International.
