Karen Burgess MBA, CAE

Karen Burgess is the CEO/executive director of the Michigan Dental Association. Burgess has 25 years of experience in health care and association management. She joined the MDA in 2014 after 17 years with the American Dental Association, most recently as senior director of membership marketing and member services. A native of Illinois, Burgess holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Illinois State University and a Master’s degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
