Karen Anne Miotto MD, DFASAM

Dr. Miotto has participated in addiction research, predominately medication development and behavioral pharmacology. Miotto has extensive research experience working with Drs. Ling, Rawson, London, Ray, and Shoptaw. The major focuses of Dr. Miotto's academic efforts at UCLA are on research, teaching and clinical care. She is the chair of the UCLA Medical Staff Health Committee and active in projects promoting physician health and wellbeing. As the Director of the UCLA Addiction Medicine Service, she also has extensive experience in caring for outpatients and inpatients with addictive disease.
