Karen Akinsanya PhD

Dr. Karen did her P.h.D in Biochemistry and Endocrine Physiology at Imperial College and The Royal Postgraduate Medical School in London. She has been mentoring children for over 25 years and founded My Tech Learning to ensure that children have a space to explore science and technology topics in-depth and "run experiments". Time "in the lab" should be as accessible as soccer or tennis practice in order for kids to hone their skills and learn from coaches. Karen has worked with the Prince of Wales Trust in the United Kingdom helping kids connect the dots between classwork and real-world science. Karen is currently serving as the Chief Biomedical Scientist at Scrhödinger, Inc. in New York.
