Kalpa Perera MBBS, FRACS

Dr. Kalpa G. Perera is a vascular and endovascular surgeon trained in all aspects of both arterial and venous disorders. He is adept at both open and the latest minimally invasive techniques and will tailor treatment to the very specific needs of his patients.

Kalpa graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011 and completed his junior year at Box Hill Hospital. He commenced his Vascular Surgery training at the major trauma center of Royal Perth Hospital before spending his fellow years at major hospitals in Melbourne and Sydney. This includes the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Frankston Hospital, and Austin Health.

Kalpa currently has public appointments at Austin Health and Northern Health and operates privately at Warringal and Epworth Hospitals. Kalpa consults in Heidelberg, Box Hill and Bundoora.

His research interests are Vascular Surgery, Endovascular Surgery, Aortic Dissections, Carotid Stents, Thoracic Aneurysms, and Vascular Diseases.
