Dr. Kaisorn Chaichana, M.D. specializes in neurosurgical oncology, focusing on the comprehensive treatment of pituitary and skull base tumors, primary brain tumors (including gliomas), and metastatic brain tumors. Dr. Chaichana uses the most modern surgical approaches including open, minimally-invasive, endoscopic, and skull base techniques, as well as surgical adjuncts such as computer-guided navigation, intraoperative neuro-monitoring, brain mapping, and stereotactic radiosurgery.
Dr. Chaichana graduated summa cum laude from the University of Utah, graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuro-oncology and stem cell research. After medical school, he completed his general surgery internship, neurological surgery residency, and fellowship in neuro-oncology and skull base surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
