Kai Hsiao

As President and CEO, Kai is responsible for the execution of all aspects of the organization, and provides the strategic direction to grow the company’s leadership position in senior living. In his tenure with Holiday Retirement, Kai has served in numerous executive leadership roles, including operations, field support functions, acquisitions, and new business strategy.

Prior to joining Holiday in 2008, Kai worked on development projects for destination spa resort Canyon Ranch. Previous to Canyon Ranch, Kai worked for Macerich (NYSE: MAC), a publicly traded REIT, focusing on redevelopment projects. Kai’s early career was launched in the advertising industry where he worked for world-renown agencies, including Chiat/Day and Cramer-Krasselt, where he was responsible for the rebranding efforts of MGM Grand, Las Vegas.

Kai serves as a member of the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) Board of Directors and on the Executive Board of the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA).

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Arizona.
