Kai-cheng Carrie Chu MD, MSCR, FACS

Dr. Chu is an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas specializing in microvascular autologous breast reconstruction and surgical treatment of lymphedema. After completing her residency in plastic and general surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, she completed her fellowship training at MD Anderson. She holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Research from Emory. Dr. Chu has authored an extensive range of peer-reviewed, original research articles and contributed chapters for five published surgical textbooks.
