Kaare Meier MD, PhD

Kaare Meier MD, Ph.D., Postdoc, Aarhus Denmark: Department of Anesthesiology Kaare Meier graduated as MD from the University of Southern Denmark in 2006. In 2012 he achieved his Ph.D. degree from Aarhus University with the thesis “Spinal cord stimulation: Clinical and experimental aspects”. Currently, he is working at the Department of Anesthesiology, Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark. Kaare Meier has worked extensively on various aspects of neuromodulation, both from a scientific and a clinical perspective, and is currently president of the Nordic Neuromodulation Society. He has been used on several occasions as a speaker, consultant, and teacher in neuromodulation. The lead designer behind the Neuron Neuromodulation Database.
