K. V. Gopalakrishna MD

K.V Gopalakrishna, MD, is chair of the department of medicine at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital and a clinical professor of medicine at the Cleveland Clinic's Lerner College of Medicine. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University's School of Medicine, Dr. Gopalakrishna completed his residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital and MetroHealth Medical Center, and a fellowship in infectious disease at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He is the former program director of the internal medicine residency program at Fairview Hospital. Dr. Gopalakrishna is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America.
