Dr. K. Grace Lim is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. After completing the six-year B.A./M.D. program at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, she finished her anesthesiology residency at Northwestern University. She then completed an obstetric anesthesiology fellowship at Northwestern University. Dr. Lim joined the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh in 2013.
Dr. Lim is a recipient of the prestigious American Medical Association Excellence in Leadership Award. She is a certified MOCA® Simulation Course Instructor.
She is regularly engaged in both didactic and simulation education for medical students, residents, and board certified anesthesiologists. She has presented work at international meetings for the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), the Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology (SOAP), and the Society for Education in Anesthesia (SEA). She has authored articles and chapters on obstetric anesthesia and patient safety. She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and little boy.
